Arts & Crafts Summer Camp

          Time: 8:00 A.M. –Noon

• Where: St. Augustine Catholic Church
•  Location: 1169 Kerr Ave., Memphis,  Tenn. 38106
• Age: Children 6-11

• What are some of the activities  the campers will do?

         -Drawing

         -Painting

          -Clay

         - Music (Interactive Play &     
             Movement)

Note: Kem's House Inc., Art and Interactive play/Movement activities are based from the Tennessee Board of Education Art Curriculum and the Tennessee Board of Education Special Education Alternative Performance Indicators for elementary age children.    

• Who can attend the summer camp?

     -Children with mild to moderate      

      disabilities.

• What are the camp requirements?

   -Children must be able to follow 
    directions.

  -Children must be able to take care
    of their basic needs.

•  Camp Fee: Free

**Limited Seating (small classroom setting) Teacher Ratio (1:5).

• Do we offer transportation?  No,  unfortunately we are unable to provide transportation. Parents or a designated person must pick up children.
• Proof of child’s disability must be presented at registration (i.e. current IEP or Psychological Report that states child’s disability. The Psychological Report must be dated within the last 3 years).

Note: The following professionals reviewed the summer camp activities for best educational practices for children with disabilities:  Artist/License Art Teacher, General Education Teacher, Health/Physical Education Teacher, and Special Education Teacher.
