Kem's House Children with Disabilities Book Club Guidelines/Incentives:
1. How to join Kem's House Children with Disabilities Book Club?
Go to our contact us page and enter your name and e-mail address. Please sate in the comment box that you would like for your child to participate in our reading club.
2. How much does it cost to join Kem's House with Disabilities Book Club?
It is free to join. Kem's House is an academic based program and is aware of the fact that our children with disabilities sometime loose interest in reading.
3. What is the age group of Kem's House with Disabilities Book Club Members?
The age group is 5 to 12 years old.
4. How will you receive the author's name and list of books?
Each month Kem's House will feature a children's book author. The author's name will be e-mailed to you. Your child can read any book he or she likes that's written by the featured author. However, Kem's House will post suggested books to read and/or read along audio books to listen to that are written by the featured author on our website and Facebook page.
5. How can I share my child's comments?
After your child has read his or her book(s) post a comment about your child's reading experience on our website's blog and/or become a Facebook Fan and post your comment on our Facebook page.
6. What are the incentives to participate in Kem's House Reading with Disabilities Club?
If your child does the following:
-Read with someone (repeated
reading)
- Read books with audio
cassette/CD
- Read Independently
Please make sure you state in your e-mail that your child was either read with, listen to read along books (audio), and/or read independently beside each book title.
Incentives:- Your Child will receive a certificate via e-mail stating
I Have Read 25 Books!
Note: Use our Contact Us Mailing list form to e-mail Kem's House your child's 25 books read list. In order to receive the incentives below you must submit your child's book read list via e-mail.
- Your child's first name will be listed on our Website/Blog/Facebook Page stating "I have read 25 books".
It's Just That Simple

If you do not own book(s) written by our author the month Kem's House will make sure our featured author of month has book(s) you can checkout at your local Public Library.
